There is a building in the centre of Vilnius (Aukų str. 2A), where the Soviet security services known as the KGB operated for 50 years. In the Museum you can see authentic prison cells and expositions,
which show the brutality of the invaders and the persistent Lithuanian struggle for freedom.
The territory of the Tuskulėnai Manor (Žirmūnų str. 1F,1N) is a place that witnessed the brutality and cruelty of Soviet invaders. Here, people who were killed during executions in the internal NKGB–MGB
prison were secretly buried in 1944–1947. Today their remains are resting in the chapel-columbarium
